2004 Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival Summing-up conference was held on August 30th. Nearly 130 persons attended the meeting, include the members of Organizing Committee, the sponsors and the co-sponsors. Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Mr. Yang Xiaodu attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The organizing committee awarded the “International Children’s Cultural exchange Outstanding Award” to all the members of organizing committee, awarded the honor certificate to the sponsors and co-sponsors, and also awarded the Soong Ching Ling Cup to the organization which give friendly support to the festival four times.

Vice director of 2004 Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival, General Secretary of CWI, Mr. Ai Baiying made a summary of the Festival. The delegate of the sponsors also delivered speeches.

At last, Vice Mayor Yang Xiaodu confirmed the work of this festival. He said that all the members of the Organizing Committee, and also every citizen of Shanghai would be pride of the festivals’ excellent and successful. He hoped that more people would pay attention to this children’s festival and give more support to it.
