During 2004 Shanghai International Children’s Cultural & Art Festival, the First International Children’s Forum will be held. Children come from all over the world will exchange their ideas on the topic of “learn to care”. We hope that the important and worldwide topic of “Children’s existence and development” will be concerned by the whole society.

The Forum will be an imitation of the round table meeting like UN Security Council. National Flags of different countries will be raised at the meeting place.

Representatives from nearly 30 delegations of different countries will sit for his/her nation. Children will give their speeches on the topics on “Learn to care” including care for friends and classmates, care for family members, care for children who are suffering from poverty and war, care for our living environments which including animals, nature etc.

The Forum will attract the attention from international and local public media. They will come to cover the news of this event to let more people hear children’s ideas.

Program of the Forum:
1. The speaker of each delegation gives a presentation in his/her native language within 3 minutes.
2. Invited commentators give a comment on the speeches.
3. To proclaim the <Appeal of Shanghai International Children’s Forum>
