The International Children’s Expo, the series activities of 2004 International Children’s Festival, will be From July 10 to August 10 in Shanghai Eastern Asia Sports and Culture Center with total area of 20,000 m2. The Expo is the first children’s event of such a size ever hold in China and also the prelude for the World Expo 2010. The Expo will attract businessmen of Film, TV, Animation & Cartoon, Video Game, Toys, Food, Beverage, and Garments etc to attend.

The Children’s Expo will be classified into 5 exhibition zones:

1. International Children’s Performance Activities (Holland ISH the Ultimate Skate Dance Group, Belgium Puppet Troupe, Germany Children’s Music Troupe etc.)

2. International Children’s Books Show. (Nearly one hundred local and overseas publishing houses will exhibit over ten thousands books, which will be the sea of knowledge for the children to sail and read.)

3. International Children’s Film and Animation Castle (international film shows, happy animation castle and magnetic games.)

4. World of High-tech games (exciting and interesting High-tech game from Korea and Japan including internet games, which combines education with entertainment.)

5. Exhibition of products for children (exhibit and sell the best brands of stationary, kids garments, toys, art crafts and etc.)

It is expected about 300,000 children and adults coming for the visit. Rich and varied exhibition, excellent performance and superb collection of children’s brands, all those make the children Expo becomes a paradise for children.
