On July 24, 2005, the grand opening ceremony of 2005 Sydney International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival was held in Sydney Opera House. More than one thousand children came from different countries gathered in this art Palace. China Welfare Institute Little Companion Art Troupe gave excellent performance on the opening ceremony. The audiences of Australia highly appraised the performance.
The 2005 Sydney International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival is the extension of Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival. The Sydney Organizing Committee won the right to hold the festival on the Second troupe leaders meeting of 2004 Shanghai International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival. This is the second time the Children’s cultural and art festival go aboard, first time was in Hungarian.
