Invited by Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation and LIWAYWAY (CHINA) CO., LTD, the Loboc Children’s Choir from Philippines visited China.

The Loboc Children’s Choir had cultural exchange with the children of China Welfare Institute Children’s Palace and Hang Zhou Youth and Children’s center. The Loboc Children’s Choir gave performances both in Shanghai and Hang Zhou. Their beautiful voice deeply impressed the audiences in China.

When they gave performance with Little Companion Art troupe of China Welfare Institute in Lan Xin Theatre in Shanghai, Mrs. Xu De Xin, Vice Chairman of China Welfare Institute, Mr. Ai Bai Ying, Secretary-General of China Welfare Institute, Mrs. Zou Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Welfare Institute and consul general of Philippines in Shanghai attended the concert.

This year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines, the visit of the Loboc Children’s Choir will strengthen the friendship between the children of China and Philippines.

Before they left China, Mrs. Zou Wei made a special trip to Hang Zhou, she brought the presents of China Welfare Institute to the guests of Philippines, and also she attended the farewell banquet held by China Welfare Institute.
