The
International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival
sponsored by Hungarian Soong Ching Ling Foundation hold
in Capital of Hungarian Budapest and beautiful Southern
city Pecs from August 3rd to August 9th. There are more
than 1000 little performers of nearly 20 art troupes attended
this festival. Taking the theme of “Peace, Friendship,
Future”, the children of all over the world exchanged
the performance of dance and music during the week.
The Opening ceremony was hold in Budapest, Capital of
Hungarian, ambassador Zhu Zushou and the other officials
of the Embassy of Peoples Republic of China in the Republic
of Hungary watched the performance.
Mr. Ai Baiying, Deputy Chairman of Shanghai Soong Ching
Ling Foundation, General Secretary of China Welfare Institute,
gave a speech on the opening ceremony and presented the
gift to Mr. Gabor, Chairman of Hungarian Soong Ling Foundation.
Mr. Ai expressed the grateful emotion for Hungarian Soong
Ching Ling make effective contribution to World Children’s
cultural career.
The children from all over the world had exchange performance
and all kinds of cultural events. The 5 excellent art
troupes from China received warmly welcome in Hungary.
During the International Children’s Cultural and
Art Festival, the International Postcard exhibition, the
Handcraft exhibition, the puppet show, the birthday party
and the revelry were also held. Children from all over
the world gathered in Hungary, spent a period of wonderful
time.
