The China
Welfare Institute and the Ministry of Education jointly
sponsor the Soong Ching Ling scholarship. It is a national
scholarship intended for elementary and secondary school
students.
Setting Soong Ching Ling's
lofty spirit of concern for the healthy growth of children
as the guide line, the scholarship has been trying its
best to promote the society's attention to children's
education and children's work, to encourage children to
love their motherland and study diligently and assiduously,
in order to become qualified personnel in the modern construction
in the future.
The Soong Ching Ling Scholarship
is issued once every two years. |
